2023 Gundog Estate Canberra District Shiraz

This premium cool climate Shiraz was produced from fruit grown in mature vineyards in the Canberra District. Each parcel of Shiraz was fermented in open-top tanks for 7 to 10 days. The wines were then racked to French oak Puncheons for 12 months’ maturation prior to blending. This traditional winemaking approach has resulted in a wine of considerable fruit freshness, fine balance, and oak integration. Complex aromas of blackberry, spice, and charry oak lead to a palate of seamless texture and great length. Drink now or after 5 to 10 years.
