The Hunter’s Shiraz benefits from the calm reliability of low-yielding, old vineyards – Will’s Hill and Tinklers – both situated over clay loam soils in Pokolbin. The two terroirs express their differing personalities in the presentation of fruit aromas / flavours and the shape of their tannins; Will’s Hill is bright and bold, with a masculine form, while the Tinkler’s brings savoury tones, elegance, and length of flavour. Combined, they fit into one another beautifully and find an easy cohesiveness.
